This Privacy Policy describes how Factor Technology, LLC ("Factor Technology," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with our website at www.factor.technology and our Factor Drive software-as-a-service platform (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy is incorporated into our User Services Agreement ("TOS"). In the event of any conflict between this Privacy Policy and the TOS, the TOS governs.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information. When you create an account or request a demo, we collect your name, email address, and company name.

Usage Data. We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Services, including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and features used.

Customer Data. You may upload business data (such as well data and geosteering models) to Factor Drive. Our collection, use, and protection of Customer Data is governed by the TOS.

Payment Information. If you purchase Services, payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card number or bank account details on our systems.

Essential cookies. The drive session cookie authenticates you in Factor Drive. It is session-only, secure, and httpOnly.

Analytics cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga, _ga_Z6RESBQTGW) on .factor.technology to distinguish visitors and track page views. Statcounter sets a cookie (sc_is_visitor_unique) on .factor.technology for the same purpose. These cookies persist for up to two years.

We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies.

5. Data Retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. Usage data and analytics are retained in aggregated form. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

This Service is intended for business professionals and is not directed at children under 13.
